About the Item
:: Unidirectional tree of life design motif with millefleur design motif and blossoms throughout. Multi-tiered inner and outer minor borders with scrolling Islimi main border and blossom minor cartouches throughout. Colors and shades include: Cobalt blue, antique ivory, dusty aubergine, antique ivory, navy blue, beige, and more. Condition notes: Even wear across to knot heads with faint foundation showing through. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. Expert restoration throughout, including spot localized coloring, which appear stable. Some old isolated scuffs to the reverse side of the carpet. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Kermanshah carpet made in Persia circa 1910's vintage. Size measures 8'10" x 10'9".
