This NE Persian carpet shows a pointed and lobed doubly pendanted round sand medallion with interior forked arabesques, all set on a shaped teal Sub-field, surrounded by a dark wine ground and tonally similar main border of double tendrils and petal palmettes. The ivory guards show cloud bands.
