Antique Persian Golfarang Bidjar circa 1900. This beautiful runners style is larger floral elements which are found in the famous Golfarang design all in the typical beautiful colors of this famous pattern. Golfarang is translated to mean 'foreign flower' and describes the floral motif in the rug. They are mostly European flowers used with great effect by the French in their Aubusson and Savonnerie rugs.
