Antique Heriz with Dark Blue Field and Unique Design
About the Item
A very unusual piece with a dark blue indigo field displaying vertical bars forming reserves and decorated with rosettes, squared flowerheads, barbed stiff leaves and other abstract devices. The rust-red strip style main border shows pseudo-turtles with ashik and hexagon bodies. Very slight end reduction. Moderate weave on cotton. Good condition. Not at all your usual Heriz carpet.
