The medallion, decorated with rows of triangles in a variety of colors, perfectly complements the all-over angular framework of the diamond-lattice patterned field. The corner spandrels and wonderful series of borders all are adorned with an array of graceful floral motifs. The spandrels feature rosettes and vinery that correspond with the floral vine main border and carnation Meander and almond blossom secondary borders.
