Antique Persian Rug Bijar Design with Prolific Tribal Patterns, circa 1910s

About the Item

Made in the 1910s, this Persian rug is a certified antique piece woven by hand using the finest wool and dyes. Tribal patterns indigenous to weavers in Bijar fill the entire field of the carpet along with floral borders that provide an excellent contrast to all its sharp geometrical shapes. It also features rich color tones of red, blue, navy and green making it ideal for traditional, Bohemian, and shabby chic interiors.
