Beautiful Antique Persian Baktiary Gallery Rug, Slate Blue Field
About the Item
Two connected, stepped ogival ecru medallions with octofoil sub-medallions, are set on the slate blue field. Pendants at ends of the pole. Triangular, serrated corners. Wide ecru border with numerous rosettes and large palmettes. Some desirable colors of slate blue, olive green and taupe surround this beauty. Although an odd size, would be perfect in an area in need of this size. Baktiary rugs are typically a lot more formal which is what makes this piece a bit unique.
