In soft and inviting shades of light blue, cream, gray, and indigo wool, this hand-knotted contemporary carpet titled "Muru" measures 8’2” x 9’11” and belongs to the Orley Shabahang Dream Collection. Inspired by traditional Australian Aboriginal Dreamtime paintings, the abstract circular design evokes an inviting and balanced atmosphere for every interior. Reminiscent of crashing waves, Muru’s contemporary design is composed of dark indigo medallions decorated with light blue detailing. Cascading cream dots fill the negative space between the motifs, providing light tones that will brighten any interior. Woven in the Orley Shabahang Cheshmeh weave, this carpet possesses a soft and plush pile, durable for generations of everyday use.
