An excellent example of a vintage Ziegler design carpet in a soft colour palette.
About 30 years old.
The carpet is hand woven with a pleasing Persian floral vase design inspired by 17th century Kirman vase carpets, the carpet has a very soft colour palette with 'peach' colour tones. The border is in a slightly darker peach / orange and frames the carpet well. The carpet has an overall soft colour palette and would give a warm feel to any room, a very easy carpet to furnish with.
The carpet is in excellent condition with even wear and good pile. There are slight signs of historic wear to the sides and ends, this is reflected in the price. The carpet is suitable for normal domestic use such as a living or dining room.
The carpet has been hand washed and is ready for use.
