About the Item

A wool pile of symmetric knots on a cotton foundation. While the layout is common to both small rugs and large carpets, nothing here remotely resembles a traditional Viss. The cardinal red field features a central axis anchored by a densely hooked, layered hexagonal medallion with matching lozenge pendants. Pale blue hooked triangular side projections and clawed corners with botehs add definition. The ecru border displays octagons and geometric palmettes. Measures: 5' 5" x 8' 2"
