Featuring harmonious shades of neutral brown, cream, and taupe wool, Poppies from the Orley Shabahang Art Deco collection consists of a hand-knotted pure wool pile, cotton warp, and woolen weft. Measuring 6’ x 8’10”, this carpet showcases a field of bright poppy plants, gently swaying in the wind within a lush poppy field. The stalks, detailed by cream, taupe, and red-brown wool, interconnect with the poppy bulbs below to create an all-over pattern. The balanced combination of neutral colors of wool evokes relaxed feelings when placed within your space and will act as the interior's foundation. Due to its neutral color palette and Art Deco design, Poppies provides texture allowing the interior and decor to pop, but what makes Poppies such an incredible piece of functional art is its tedious traditional construction.
