About the Item
Creating a relaxed and luxurious ascending design, Belgian Lace is a hand-knotted carpet originating from the Orley Shabahang Architectural collection. Entirely hand-knotted, Belgian Lace incorporates embossed silk medallion motifs arranged evenly within the carpet’s field. The background’s brown, taupe, and cream striations come from natural, un-dyed hand-spun wool.
Orley Shabahang works house to house, village to village with our weavers, working to preserve the art of weaving as a cottage industry, and implementing ancient weaving methods to create the antiques of the future. Measures: 6 x 9.
