In bold and contrasting shades of gray, gold, green, and cream hand-spun wool, this contemporary Persian carpet titled "Migaloo" measures 8’ x 10’2” and belongs to the Orley Shabahang Dream Collection. Inspired by traditional Australian Aboriginal Dreamtime paintings, the abstract circular design provides an inviting and balanced atmosphere for every interior. To form Migaloo’s design, a large gray circular medallion, and cream-colored curvilinear lines are decorated with gold circular motifs and surrounded by ascending light green dots. Light green and gold tones contrast perfectly with the dark gray background and provide the pops of color that make this abstract design so pleasing. Woven in the Orley Shabahang Cheshmeh weave, this carpet possesses a soft and plush pile, durable for generations of everyday use.
