About the Item

This Orley Shabahang jellyfish Persian carpet from the Art Deco collection measures 6’8" x 8'10" and depicts an abstract aquatic scene of jellyfish gently floating through the ocean. It consists of a hand-knotted pure wool pile, vegetable dyes, and a cotton warp and woolen weft foundation. Patterned in light orange, green, and cream tones amid a rich natural brown and gray background, the abstract jellyfish motifs contrast beautifully with each other. Evenly distributed throughout the carpet, the all-over design is versatile in almost any space. Using only the highest quality raw materials and created by artisans, this piece is as functional as it is stunning.
