About the Item
This 7’10” x 10’2” Contemporary Persian rug was woven by Orley Shabahang’s artisan weavers using techniques that have been passed down for generations. Woven with pure, hand spun wool, the pile is both durable and soft. The vivid swirling design of Orley Shabahang’s “Spirals” will liven up any space for generations to come.
Orley Shabahang works village to village and house-to-house with our weavers to preserve the high level of craftsmanship of our products and ultimately to preserve the art of Persian carpet weaving. Included in the bottom corner of this piece is the signature of artist and master weaver Bahram Shabahang.
