An antique Persian Ziegler Sultanabad oriental carpet, circa 1890, size: 27'4 H x 19'1 W. This Classic hand knotted wool carpet features an ivory central medallion on a coral red primary field, with reciprocal corner spandrels. Enclosed within a scrolling foliate navy field. Excellent condition, with short wool pile. Ziegler is the finest type of Sultanabad carpet, woven in the famed workshop of Ziegler & Co. before the turn of the 20th century. An amazing addition to your home decor and a statement piece of a lifetime!
