Hand-knotted in wool and sari silk, this 5x8 Scandinavian rug has been inspired from the playful retro look—has more of a late-70s Scandinavian Rya look to its inspiration.
On the design:
Admirers of the craft may admire the deft hand that marries the high-low textural element with the geometry—lends such a movement and sense of dimension, but it’s still as comfortable a choice as it is a smart, exciting one—a breath of history and culture for the modern home. The field features blue, green, black, beige/brown and similar hues keeping with the look of folk art that inspired this movement and the late-70s Scandinavian Rya look to its inspiration.
