78475 vintage Swedish Rollakan rug by Ulla Parkdal, 06'06 x 10'01. With its Scandinavian Modern style, incredible detail and texture, this handwoven wool vintage Swedish rollakan rug is a captivating vision of woven beauty. The eye-catching geometric design and earthy colorway woven into this piece work together creating a truly unique look. The abrashed field features an allover pattern composed of alternating stepped medallions. Small rectangular bands made up of short dark vertical lines dash across the field interrupting the continuity. Reflecting elements of nature and well-balanced asymmetry, this vintage Swedish kilim rug beautifully embodies Biophilic Design. This rollakan rug is named Ahus and was designed by Ulla Parkdal. Her initials UP are in the lower corner.
