The abrashed field is covered in an all-over pomegranate design while the rich waves of abrash demurely highlight the distinguished pomegranate pattern adding visual interest and depth. The pomegranate tree motif with its rectilinear branches laden with large seeded fruit, flowers, and small leaves densely fills the composition. It is enclosed with a geometric Meander border flanked with an outer fretwork style T-Meander guard band reminiscent of Chinese weavings that expertly complements the motifs of the field.
