An antique 14x22 Indochinese Samarkand rug, hand-knotted in wool circa 1880-1890. Further On the Design: This antique piece is a royal selection that enjoys patterns in incredibly rare blue and gold deliciously punctuated by brown in its arresting medallion-style pattern. Keen eyes will admire geometric-floral patterns and subtle color variations that move beautifully from the center outward. The construction hosts a lustrous wool that brings out the texture and finesse one seldom sees in this gracious palace size, and let alone these hues. This is one of the most regal, and extremely collectible rugs in R&K Principal Josh Nazmiyal’s hand-picked favorites.
