This antique Khotan rug from East Turkistan is truly stunning. It's clear that a lot of care and attention went into its creation around 1900, and the circular three medallions with more circular patterns inside and out are a real highlight. I love how each one features a unique design and placement, making the rug even more captivating. The yellow saffron field is also a bold choice that really works well with the intricate borders. Speaking of which, the outer border with its unique pattern is fantastic, and the infinity border with its rich coral, saffron, brown, olive, and ivory colors adds depth and dimension to the rug. Finally, the innermost border's intricate designs are the perfect finishing touch, enhancing the rug's overall beauty even further.
