Banded "Jajim" rug with good luck charms. A tribal floor cover or rug, possibly Kurdish, tightly woven and sturdy, consisting of four panels sewn together, with an unusual color combination. Very high quality wool. Rows of knots, made of bits of old cotton fabric are intended as good luck charms of this rug.

    A graphic tribal kilim composed of two joined panels each containing an array of polychrome vertical stripes in a variety of natural colours. The result is a wool flat-weave with a mirror image pattern. What makes this example rather unique is the richness of the individual colors, obtained from natural dyes, as well the generous width of the vertical stripes.
