About the Item

Contemporary Turkish rug handwoven from the finest sheep’s wool and colored with all-natural vegetable dyes that are safe for humans and pets. It’s a traditional Farahan weaving featuring a lovely ensemble of floral designs in navy and gray over a red and orange field. It’s a stunning piece to get for modern and rustic spaces. It has a dimension of 11’4” x 23’7” which is ideal for large and open spaces. Farahan is a village in west-central Iran known for producing one of the finest rug designs from the 19th century. In fact, the rugs made by Farahan master weavers were purposely designed to cater to aristocrats and affluent buyers from the West.
