About the Item

Contemporary Turkish area rug made of handwoven sheep’s wool of the finest quality. It’s tinted with organic vegetable dyes that are certified safe for humans and pets alike. It features a brown and beige field with multicolored floral patterns shaped like diamonds often found in Oushak weaving from ancient Anatolia in Turkey. It also has two green rectangular borders that add an element of symmetry. This contemporary Turkish rug is considered oversized due to its 14’ x 19’2” dimensions which suits large and spacious living areas and drawing rooms perfectly. It’s a vibrant piece that complements contemporary, traditional, and Mid-Century Modern interiors really well. Oushak rug weaving is centered on floral motifs and intricate medallions appearing on the field which are mesmerizing and stunning to look at.
