52553, distressed antique Persian Malayer design runner with Rustic Craftsman style. Warm and inviting combined with its geometric pattern and weathered composition, this hand knotted wool distressed antique Persian design runner embodies a rustic craftsman style. It features an all-over Herati pattern spread across the abrashed field. The Classic Herati pattern, also known as the Mahi or Fish pattern, is amongst the most widespread and well known of all Persian designs, consisting of a flower centered in a diamond accompanied by curving lanceolate leaves that resemble fish. It is enclosed with a series of geometric Shekeri style border flanked with an inner and outer Meander guard border. Effortlessly stylish and elegantly understated integrated with rustic refinement, this antique Turkish carpet runner will charm with ease. Perfect for a hallway, stair landing, open hall or long entry, kitchen, corridor, private library, den, mudroom, study, home office, sitting room, bathroom, grand foyer and designer entryway or it would make a lovely accent to a living room, bedroom, hotel lobby, or vestibule.
