Hand knotted in wool from a notable sheen yarn originating from Turkey circa 1950-1960, this midcentury rug remarks a distinctive vintage Oushak rug design with a notably inviting peach accent, abashed in the prevailing beige-brown hues. The consistency of the sharply graphed medallion colorways against the more whimsical, abashed field background lends the former a natural dimensionality and attention to the meticulous detail they enjoy, further complemented by the subtle juxtaposition of less defined, equally intricate meandering borders playing with bright pink, muted blue, and bold black hues in creative alternation.
