50351, Mid-Century Modern style vintage Turkish Oushak runner, hallway runner. Warm, rich and neutral, this hand-knotted wool vintage Turkish Oushak runner features three interconnected hexagonal medallions with diamond pendants across an abrashed field. A dynamic and attractive design encompassing a variety of geometric shapes and traditional Anatolian symbols decorates this Oushak runner. A classic main border composed of a repeating, stylized Vitruvian scroll known as a running dog border which resembles a wave and echoes the ram’s horn motifs that appear throughout the central area, while simpler saw-tooth and dotted guard borders elegantly frame the overall composition. With its bold abstracted motifs and subdued color palette, this versatile Oushak runner would provide a striking backdrop to any space. Rendered in variegated shades of almond, fawn, champagne, beige, ecru, camel, tan, sienna, chocolate, coffee, teal, celadon, sky blue, stone gray, and greige.
