Rare Vintage Mohair Blanket Kilim Rug Turkey Beige Brown Grey Black
About the Item
This is an example of the rare and hard to find tribal Mohair blankets. The bottom side is straight woven like a Kilim, the upper side has wool standing out of the blanket. This keeps air between the fibers and gives a great Isolation to cold nights in the eastern Anatolian highlands, it reminds of fur.
Chocolate brown with beige and caramel colored. Overall good condition, higher fur in the center, low at the ends. Measures: 6 x 4 ft.
