This vintage 5x8 rug is a new addition to Rug & Kilim’s Mid-Century Pasha Collection. This line is a commemoration, with rare curations we believe to hail from multidisciplinary Turkish designer Zeki Müren. Further on the Design: This distressed piece enjoys repeating geometric patterns in the most bold red and black colors, with rust, teal, and sky blue accents in their intricacies. Keen eyes will note a nod to floral patterns in their imagery, and admire the sense of movement and whimsy they achieve. Such graphic choices are seldom seen in this texture, and exemplify this artist's rare works. A collectible piece with life, attitude, and meticulous detail this artist embodies. Further on the Condition: This smart mid-century rug further enjoys an otherwise good condition for this provenance. Hand-knotted in wool circa 1960-1970.
