77184, vintage Oushak style rug with traditional design in warm, golden hues. This hand-knotted wool vintage Oushak-style rug features a lozenge-shaped centre medallion with palmette pendants on a champagne field. The centre medallion also contains a smaller stair-step medallion outlined in burgundy. The field is composed of an all-over arabesque design with palmettes, scrolling vines, buds, blooms, leaflets, and small rosettes. A palmette border and rosette guard borders complement the centre design. The use of burgundy outlining the borders, palmettes and other details gives dimension to an otherwise overall monotone color-palette of soft pastels and beige. A Classic design with beautiful detailing makes this vintage Oushak-style rug very versatile.
