Vintage Oversize Turkish Oushak in Ivory, Pale Green, Terracotta, Pink, Yellow

Extremely rare and very desirable Square oversized Turkish Oushak from the early 1900s in soft shades of cream, red, pink, green, and pale yellow colors. The Oushak rug is in the style of the Persian Serapi rugs from the mid-1800s. It has an open design set in a cream color field with corner spandrels in pale green color. A wonderful pale salmon color border frames the rug beautifully. There are large geometric forms on the border again reminiscent of the Persian Serapi rugs. Vintage Turkish Oushak in a geometric Heriz Serapi pattern in ivory, baby blue and yellow colors from the early 1900s. A pale baby blue central medallion is set in a wonderful cream color field in an open design. The border is in saffron yellow. Other colors in the field and border include pink, green, blue, red, and gray. In addition, the wonderful green center medallion, and corner spandrels add to the unique beauty of the rug.
