Hand-knotted in wool, this 4x6 vintage Tulu rug, circa 1950-1960, is among the family of Tulus with quite a rare colorway for this provenance of bright blue with seafoam and other green accents.
On the Design:
Tulus are some of the most sought-after high-pile and shag rugs, often mentioned in the same breath as Greek Flokati and Moroccan rugs for their own unique take on a lush, comfortable look and feel. This vintage piece is among the family of Tulus with very rare colors of bright blue with seafoam and green accents. With a great size and vast design applications therein, it is very cozy and livable above all, with just a touch of personality.
