Vintage Turkish Bergama with Grey Field with Star Border
About the Item
This Bergama from northwest Turkey shows a grey green field with a tall, central, stepped hexagonal ecru panel decorated with stars, rosettes, carnations, and two broad, sharp-leaf brackets. Stars and carnation plants ornament the corners. Flip flop meander with stars decorated the main ecru border. Visible end reduction. Moderate weave on wool. Otherwise acceptable condition.
