With its rich detailing, vibrant colors, and symmetry, this hand-knotted wool vintage Turkish Konya Taspinar rug beautifully embodies Venetian Renaissance style. The tri-colored lozenge medallion floats in an abrashed ruby red and royal blue cut-out field with stepped edges. The ruby red corner spandrels display rosettes and organic shaped florals extending into a sea of blue. The end caps showcase ziggurat mounds. It is enclosed with a chocolate brown border flanked with inner and outer carnation meander guard bands.
