This hand knotted wool vintage Turkish Oushak rug features a stepped pole medallion anchored with pendants in an open abrashed red field. Complementary stepped spandrels in each corner extend along the vertical sides forming stepped ziggurat mounds. The vintage Oushak rug is enclosed with a rectilinear botanical leaf border flanked with an inner angular Meander guard band.
