52327, vintage Turkish Oushak rug with Jacobean style, kitchen, foyer or entry rug. Tribal vibes, whimsy and rich colors collide in this hand knotted wool vintage Turkish Oushak with Jacobean style. Three stacked rectangular cruciform medallions create three red compartments down the rug field. Each medallion is set with a diamond amulet and a pair of blossoms in alternating colors. Flowers and circle motifs further ornament the compartments and the carpet field beyond them. At the top and bottom centers of the Oushak rug a pair of affronted four-legged animals adds interest, charm, and exotic raconteur style. Meanwhile a primary border of four quadrant rosette florals surrounds and a set of saw-tooth inner and outer guard bands unifies the composition. Sumptuous with elaborate character this vintage Oushak rug could be the answer to a formal European style interior or an infusion of color and character in a more bohemian or minimally furnished modern interior. Ravishing and disarming this ornamental Oushak rug is a beautiful weaving with the ample ornamentation of Jacobean style.
