This hand-knotted wool vintage Turkish Oushak runner features five floral lobed medallions in alternating colors spread across an abrashed red field. Each medallion contains a swirl of palmettes, carnations, rosettes and vinery in an elegant arrangement. A band of chevrons outlines the otherwise plain field, adding a simple but graceful touch. The main border features a classic turtle scroll border with samovar-shaped palmettes and is accompanied by rosette and leaf meander guard borders.
