Displaying a bold form in vibrant colors, this hand knotted wool distressed vintage Turkish Sivas rug features an all-over adventurous geometric pattern. The lovingly time-worn abrashed field is covered in a repeating stepped star motif design in alternating colors. It is enclosed with a thin red border giving it a sense of order and definition. Gentle waves of abrash and variations in wear temper the otherwise bold geometric design.
