Size: 7 ft 7 in x 10 ft 8 in (2.31 m x 3.25 m) This large antique rug from Romania is a stunning example of the Besserabian flat weave. It features a calming color theme and a fresh, floral motif that is reminiscent of springtime. A gorgeous landscape of sweet cream creates a pleasing flow, with delicate latte and sepia tones developing a pale backdrop that appears as a series of rolling hills. Playing against the muted landscape is an array of floral patterns that appear as living pieces of stained glass. The blush and salmon tones stand out against against poppy-like blossoms, pairing against charming dandelion yellow and sage green shades of lush leaves and stems.
