A rare 8x12 antique hand-hooked rug of German provenance, handmade in wool circa 1920-1940. This collectible piece enjoys floral patterns in rust-red and green on a beige backdrop within a dark-blue border. Keen eyes will note the intricate pattern and color variation as astounding as the meticulously detailed patterns. The sensibility is a translation of Oriental masterpieces in European, as additionally uncommon to this provenance as the large size.
