About the Item

Éclat rug made in 2014 by Céline Alexandre. It is made of light coloured natural tinged felt, the pattern is made of felt out of jaie lacquer in black and resin creating a light glossy feature. A “Certificate of authenticity” is provided by the gallery. Dimensions : 200 x 200 cm 78.7 x 78.7 inches Céline Alexandre is a high-end Interior design brand created by Céline Sorigué and Alexandre Leu from Atelier Dynale. At the same time a creative and a research studio, Céline Alexandre's passion is the materials which is visible in their work as a true blend of art and decoration. The creations of Céline Alexandre are present in multiple projects: hotels, private homes, high-end showcases, yachts, private jets… Céline Alexandre is the culmination of more than twenty years of textile creation in Atelier Dynale. Founded in 1974 by Alexander’s mother, Evelyne Leu, the studio was producing mainly silk paintings at the time. Upon their takeover in 1990, Alexandre and Céline developed new skills and innovative processes for Haute Couture (Chanel, Dior, Givenchy …). In 1994, they signed their first collaboration with Gianfranco Ferré for Christian Dior’s 1994-1995 Haute Couture Spring-Summer collection. This meeting marks the beginning of their story.
