French/Paris Louis XVI rose colored Floral Aubusson carpet, circa 1900 Antique French tapestry-woven Louis XVI-style Aubusson carpet showing a large curvy cream-colored cartouche on a rose-colored ground. The cartouche enclosing a polychrome detailed rose bouquet, which is surrounded by a colorful flower garland. The carpet is set with a cream main border showing a neoclassical cymation and pearl frieze, the corners displaying large and detailed neoclassical vignettes with rosettes, rosebuds and scroll motifs. Elegant and impressive Louis XVI-style Aubusson carpet in very fine Vintage condition, adding beauty and comfort to a living room or salon.
