INK is a textile translation of spilled ink—a planned yet unexpected blot, full of inner motion. Blue-black tones spread in a free composition, resembling traditional Chinese painting or an abstract Rorschach stain.
Hand-woven using techniques that highlight transitions from dark to light, from line to surface. Each layer carries emotional depth, and the composition as a whole creates a calm sense of focus.
Gadi Carmel’s design is grounded in nonlinear movement—a thought expanding, an emotion forming, a material melting.
