Size: 14'7" × 21'7" (444 × 657 cm).
A modern flat weave Aubusson rug, made out of wool. Aubusson rugs originate from France and are typically of considerable size, and this one is no exception. Though the color palette is rich, more vibrant colors are reserved for the leaves in the pattern, while the main field is light green. The pattern throughout the carpet’s entire field consists of winding and furcating branches, terminated by leaves or leaf buds, with no discernible regularity. The curvilinearity of the branches and leaf contours makes for an eye-pleasing design.
