"Stairs Lino", 100% linen, is an ultra-natural rug by Italian contemporary rug design company G.T.DESIGN.
Handmade in linen, a naturally soft, breathable and resistant material, "Stairs Lino" is ideal for holiday homes, in interior settings.
It is hand-woven on traditional looms and has an extremely low environmental impact, in line with the pieces designed by Deanna Comellini, G.T.DESIGN’s art director.
Associated with a summer aesthetic, linen is known to have excellent strength and termoregulation capacities while linen textiles appear to be some of the oldest in the world.
"Stairs Lino" is customizable both in dimensions and colors.

About the designer:
Deanna Comellini is an artist and a designer.
For over 40 years, she has experimented by combining craftsmanship and industrial design while working first on product design and later on textiles. She has developed the notion of ‘imperfect design’, highlighting the minor flaws of materials and handmade products that make them unique and one-of-a-kind. In the 1990s, she focused on the concept of the contemporary rug and natural materials while innovating the industry with a new textile for interior design. In 1977, she founded G.T.DESIGN taking on the role of Creative Director. She participated in prestigious international exhibitions and collaborated with important architectural figures, including Toyo Ito and the Zaha Hadid Architects studio.
Deanna Comellini was named one of the 100 Most Influential Women by Forbes Italy in 2022.
