Alice Wallebäck rugs are beautiful Swedish röllakan carpets with a distinctive style. She tends to use recurring square patterns and colours in red, blue, green and brown.
The weaver and designer Alice Wallebäck seems to have been active in making flatweave carpets primarily in the 1960s. Her favourite pattern is called Sofia Rosa and comes in primary colours such as red and green. The rug in the picture is a Sofia Rosa and displays the distinctive pattern with squares and shapes.
