Victorian Style Antique European Rug, Circa 1920's
About the Item
The darker red field shows an allover pattern of closely set small octogrammes, leaves and wriggling cloudbands, in an Indian Esque pattern. Main dark brown border with square floret assemblages, flowering plants, and vases. Possibly English and definitely Victorian – looking. Light allover wear, good condition.
