About the Item

Beautiful modern armchair(s), designed by Nathan Lindberg. Unique design, it's a contemporary chair, with a vintage and Mid-Century Modern look, manufactured in the 'oldschool style' so no modern components, it's like directly from the 1950s-1960s. Made in Germany, the chair parts are made of solid beech wood, the special designed base is powder coated and made of metal. All parts are handmade, small edition, very exclusive. The teddy fur fabric, is super soft to the touch, beautiful natural tone, like sheepskin, but made of eco cotton, fantastic and very popular fabric, which was also used for the Nathan Lindberg Minimalist daybeds. These chairs are the last 10 of 100 from the 1st edition production. The 10 pcs. will be ready to ship in the 1st or 2nd week of march 2020, the next production will start late march/april, so it will take a time until the next chairs are available. Price per chair Dimensions: armrest height 66cm seat height 46cm W x D x H 64 x 60 x 85cm The shipping quote is for one chair, but there are different quotes for 2 or 6 or 10 chairs so please inquire a shipping quote for the quantity of chairs you need before placing an order. Some Nathan Lindberg pieces, especially chairs and daybeds are influenced and inspired by French modern designs like, Pierre Jeanneret, Jean Prouve, Pierre Chapo, but also by Swedish, Danish or generally Scandinavian modern designs by Hans Wegner, Mogens Lassen, Philip Arctander, the sideboard designs are more straight and minimalist like Florence Knoll pieces, in contrast to the long, curvy sofa which is more inspired by the 1970s and 1980s like Vladimir Kagan, Milo Baughman. Different styles in a modern look. The dining tables and coffee tables are influenced by Charlotte Perriand, Mario Bellini etc. The plan for this year are more dining room tables, low coffee tables and shelves, book shelves and wall units, also consoles in a midcentury look made of solid wood.
