18th Century Louis XV Italian Walnut Armchair Venetian Style
About the Item
Important pair of walnut armchairs, entirely shaped and carved with armrests and curved Venetian supports from the mid-18th century.
These two armchairs were made entirely of solid walnut, left in a natural color, while the backrest is also padded. The slightly wavy frame gives the armchairs a dynamic move with a harmonic and very delicate cadence that gives elegance and refinement.
The two armchairs have the typical Rococo cabriole legs, supported by a curl and a plinth; their profile is underlined by a slight thread that continues in the wavy apron of the band. The carved and curled-ending armrests are set back.
Measures: height 100, seat back cm 60.
