Very fine sophisticated Duchess Marguerite de Rothschild style pair of 18th century French Louis XVI armchairs-oval balloon backs with cane back and seat, scrolled arms, and fluted legs standing on turnip feet, retaining original faded white painted patina, giltwood and aqua blue trim making for a beautiful aged faded peeling painted patina for a sophisticated look as faded aristocracy! Nicely proportioned. Has two conforming shaped seat cushions, each with different cover.
